This ground floor Chamber [5.2m by 4.5m], in the South tower, has a king size (1.8m x 2m) comfortable bed facing large double French doors which conveniently lead directly to the pool area. Its walls are made of thick white and grey stone reflecting its medieval defensive origins.
Look out for the hidden gothic window built into the stone wall. The Chamber’s furniture is 18th century English mahogany, complimented with the warming textiles of gold, cream and duck-egg blue.
The Cathar Chamber uses the ‘Chapel Bathroom’ on the first floor. The bathroom contains a large walk-in shower area, sink, mirror, towel rails, hair-dryer, towels and toiletries. This bathroom is also shared with the Pilgrim Chamber’s guests. The cold running water is direct from the mains and potable.
